Kweli Energy has successfully delivered and commissioned a 16 kVA Smart Hybrid Solar Backup System for Uganda Catholic TV (UCTV) in Kampala.
Operated by the Uganda Episcopal Conference, UCTV is a faith-based television station dedicated to inspiring, educating, and transforming lives through positive, value-driven media content.
The new system features a 16 kVA Felicity Smart Hybrid inverter string, a 10 kWh lithium battery with Smart BMS, and a 3.7 kWp array of bifacial monocrystalline solar panels. Integrated with a 3-phase grid input, it offers intelligent switchover between power sources within 20 milliseconds and advanced energy management for seamless operation.
The system is designed to power the server room, production control room, and main studio during the day and during periods of grid outages or low grid voltage, ensuring uninterrupted broadcasting and lower energy costs.
This project reinforces Kweli Energy’s commitment to delivering reliable, innovative, and sustainable energy solutions that empower institutions and modern enterprises across East Africa.
