Description

BYD 5kWh 51.2V LiFePO₄ Lithium Solar Battery Battery-Box LV5.0

Product Description

The BYD Battery-Box LV5.0 is a lithium iron phosphate energy storage battery built for solar systems that need dependable, long-lasting storage. It is designed for homes, offices and commercial installations where solar energy needs to be stored for use at night or during power interruptions.

Each unit stores 5kWh of energy and operates at 51.2V, making it well-suited for modern hybrid inverter systems. The battery is built around BYD’s LFP technology, known for strong safety, stable performance and long cycle life. An intelligent battery management system continuously monitors the battery cells, balances them, and protects the system from over-charging, deep discharge and temperature extremes.

One of the strengths of the Battery-Box LV5.0 is its modular architecture. Systems can start with a small number of batteries and expand easily as energy demand grows. Up to 32 units can operate in parallel, allowing total storage capacity to reach 160kWh for larger solar installations.

The battery communicates with compatible hybrid inverters through CAN and RS485, with additional Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capability for monitoring and diagnostics. This allows installers and system owners to track battery performance and maintain reliable system operation.

With its robust lithium chemistry, intelligent monitoring and scalable design, the BYD Battery-Box LV5.0 provides a solid energy storage solution for solar systems that require dependable performance and long service life.
