Earlier in 2023, Samsung released new models of its flat screen smart TVs under the series codes CU7000 and CU8000. Both series are made in sizes 43 to 85 inch
In this article we will share with you a few differences between the two models/series.
- Price:
Samsung CU7000 TVs are the cheaper option of the two models, you can get one at about 10% less than a CU8000 TV of the same price.
- Slimness:
AirSlim, that’s the description of CU8000. The TV can literary disappear in your wall whereas the CU7000 is slightly “fatter”
- Response time:
Whereas both models offer pretty good response times, the CU8000 offers faster response rates reducing the amount of blur in fast motion; sports scenes, movies and gaming.
- Inputs:
Samsung CU8000 TVs come with 3 HDMI ports and 2 USB ports whereas the CU7000 comes with 3 HDMI ports and 1 USB port.
- Remote control
The CU8000 TV remote comes with inbuilt Mic which makes it possible for you to control the TV using your voice. The CU7000 remote does not have a mic so you cannot use your voice to control the TV.
- Voice Assistant
Samsung CU8000 TV comes with built-in voice assistants including Alexa whereas the CU7000 does not. However, the CU7000 model can also be controlled by voice assistants like Alexa Dot after being set up through the Samsung Smart Home app.
- Picture Quality.
Both CU8000 and CU7000 TV models offer incredibly good picture quality but the CU8000 clearly gives better picture output.
