Multichoice Uganda has announced new adjustments to the monthly subscription fees of DStv and GOtv effective 1st April 2023. The parent company multichoice international announced similar increments in the different markets where they have operations.
The increaments which range from 6% to 12% have been attributed to rising inflation and cost of doing business. The company says the increaments will enable them to continue offering customers the same great entertainment that they have always provided.
DSTV Lumba, the local chanels package which has been Ush 15,000 will cost Ush 16,000 per month while DStv compact (which accommodates the English Premier League will starting April cost Ush 104,000 per month from the current rate of Ush 95,000.
Some of the channels on DStv Lumba include local channels, Telemundo, BBC, Aljazeera, Supersport Football (225) and Blitz, NatGeo (National Geographic Channel), MTV Base, Trace Mziki, and Soundcity, among others.
On the other hand, GOtv’s starter pack (GOtv Lite) which has been Ush 14,000 will be Ush 15,000 while GOtv Supa grows from Ush 58,000 to Ush 65,000.
